Hi, I was looking to get a green laser pointer to point out objects to my wife as we started to use the new lx200gps. Any one who has one, please give advice on good reliable manufactures and prices.
Thank you.

There's a new forum just for laser pointers--you may want to post there also.

Tushar,

Howie Glatter sells a laser pointer. I received one as a Christmas present 2 to 3 years ago. It came with a nice case (with a place for extra batteries!) I really like it, especially when trying to find objects from the back yard. I have used it at our club's monthly observing sessions, but agree with others about not using it at a Star Party.

Cloudy Nights has a review of it. It cost approx. $180-$200 back then. I think they are much less expensive now.

Tushar,
I would recomend purchaseing one from John and Karen at Z-Bolt. They have the best prices and are great to their customers. You can pick up one of their un-modified versions for around $55. Check out their web site and give them a call.
