Wondering if anyone has experience or input on a quick mount rich field/finderscope for my Tec 140/GM-8 set-up. I'd really like a nice finder that I could then use as a rich field scope. Weight is a consideration, I'd like to be under 2.5 pounds. Wondering about the mini-borg or anyone have any input on the Tak 11-70mm Finder? Thanks

I have an ETX-70 F/5 finder on my Dob. With a 32 Plossl, it gives about a 4 degree field of view at 11x. It weighs about 2 lbs, not including the bracket. I actually have a 2nd one I'd be willing to sell if you are interested.

If you want to creep into the 60mm range, there are the optically wonderful Televue 60mm APO and the Takahashi FS-60C APO. For a nice basic finder, the Tak 7x50 is gorgeous.
Good luck,
