Does anyone know how to search for longtitude/latitude coordinates online? I'm trying to get the specific coordinates for my home address. I have a Nexstar 5i and would like to input the coordinates into the Nexstar computerized hand controller. Thanks & Clear Skies to everyone! Luis

I think the Terrafly website might solve your problem. It provides aerial photography of the entire U.S., and as I recall a latitude and longitude readout follows the cursor. You should be able to see your house in the pictures.
I forget the address, but entering Terrafly in Google should bring it up.

Could you get someone with a GPS to come by? Maybe a hunter or sailor. Then read the lat/long off the screen.
Otherwise go to this site.
http://www.fourmilab.to/cgi-bin/uncgi/Yoursky?z=1&lat=30.4494&ns=North&lon=91.1833&ew=West
This is for New Orleans. Scroll down and set the observing site to a nearby city and read out your lat/long. Also USGS topographic maps show lat/long. as does the Rand McNally Road Atlas.
I'd go with the GPS, it's pretty accurate.
