Aloha
Is somebody familiar with auto guiding with a Titan mount ?
I have a orion 80 ED and want to use this for auto guiding the Titan Mount. The ToUcam is connected to the computer with the USB cable, now the Gemini is connected to the computer with a serial cable I guess. But which one and how does it work with what software to use best for this setup ?

I've used a similar setup on a G11 mount. I used
a "GP-USB" cable from these folks:

For software, MaxIm DL worked pretty well. Another one
is PHDguiding. The above website lists various
compatable softwares. The better softwares will allow
dark frame subtraction, and stacking / averaging of
the guiding frames.

I found the ToUcam to be a bit limiting, in that you needed
bright guide stars due to the short exposure times.
Some other cameras like Lumenera allowed single exposures
up to several seconds and could go fainter, and
then there was a bright enough guide star just about
anywhere you pointed.
