Hello everyone, I have an older Meade 10" LX200, During collimination, on one side of focus I have a pinched area that looks like the letter "N". I've also attached an image of this. Can anyone give me an idea what is wrong here??

Thanks!

Michael, was your scope temperature adjusted?
I would think this is due to "heat plumes" more than pinched optics, but I could be wrong...

Do you see that pattern all the time? even after your scope has cooled down for an hour of so?
