Mead LX200 EMC

Hello to all this is my first post I apologize if this has been ask before :
Is there a updated controller for my LX200 (12") , this model was purchased just before they came out with the GPS model !
The controller has not work the way it should ; and has not been used for years .
Would like to update system if possible .
If any of you Mead guys or gals can help , it would be appreciate a lot !

Hi Michael, yes there is an "upgrade" to the LX200 Classic, but it is not from Meade. You can read about it here; http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/LX200Autostar/?yguid=445350919
I have the "deluxe" kit in my 8" and it works great.
