MEADE LX200 12" EMC HELP (NOT ALIGNING)

ok i bought this lx200 12" ecm off a guy on ebay. I have several problems.

I put in my lat and log for my sight. i put in the current time. i then goto align and pick 2 star. it tells me to level base and hit enter. then when i select the star it doesnt move at all. The scope moves with the n,s,e,w buttons but not to align..

2nd problem, my meade handbox does not have a library. i have no planets or anything. This may be related to problem 1 not aligning.

please help!

also, the autostar box is way different then the autostar handboxes im used to seeing. It doesnt have arrows for moving scope it has n,s,e,w and the buttons are different. Maybe this handbox is wrong?

Hi Matt, The EMC version is an older unit that does not use the Autostar handbox and is going to be the LX200 Classic model. If you could post a picture of the drive base and the handbox you have it would help to figure it all out.
