Does anyone out there know how to attach a Takahashi telescope (in this case a FS102) onto one of Televue's fine alt/az mounts? Does it require adapting or can it be readily attached? Also, would anyone have any first hand experience with Universal Astronomics new Unistar mounts? Thanks for the help!

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.

I bought a mounting ring from Anascortes about a year ago that fits on my FS102 like the ring that fits on my Genesis SDF (but the right size for the FS102) and it works just great to put the FS102 on my Gibralter mount. Just check with Anascortes and see if they still sell this product.

Well, his price seems a little high, but check out Astromart ad# 124389.
