Hi all,

I just got my Mewlon 250 back after getting it re-colliminated, cleaned and generally back to like new condition. I paid over $600 for this including shipping both ways. Attached are inside focus/outside focus star images shot after the scope had 2 hrs of cooldown. I tried to image Mars, but all I got was mush. I imaged Mars with the TOA-130 and preliminary images are the best I've seen so far. Anyway, do I need to contact the company that did the work and get better?

I don't care what kind of telescope it is (well, maybe MCTs are an exception), having someone collimate it for you is usually not very effective. Berry, berry likely the tender mercies of the Brown Trucks will throw the scope out of collimation again. Why don't you collimate it yourself? If memory serves, the Mewlons are eminently user collimatable.
