Pentax SMC Ortho coating problems

Can any one comment or know anything about these eyepieces having quality control issues. Specifically to the coatings, how it affected the overall quality of image, and how to recognize the fault. Thank you.

I've used about a dozen of these, and don't
know anything about coating problems; its the
first I've heard of this. A couple yers ago
I heard something about the short focal lengths
(5, 6, 7mm) having an issue with internal
dust, but I can't confirm that either. In my
experience they are flawless and truly superb
eyepieces.
