Just wondered if other people notice the sun as red looking thru the PST?

Yes

The Hydrogen alpha bandwidth is red. smile

When you see those fancy dancy solar images by Paul or Don or whoever and they [the sun] look orange or some other cool color, it's cause it's processed. Amazing what computer processing does.

I should be getting my PST within the week and of course its entirely overcast here in the mid Atlantic states. I regularly use yellow and red eyepiece filters with my white light solar filter because I find it more pleasing so I'm wondering if anyone uses colored filters with a PST for aesthetics? Has anyone tried a contrast boosting filter?
