Question about Coma.......

Has anyone made a visual comparison of the Lumicon Coma Corrector vs. the Paracorr. I am using an f/4.5 Newtonian and would like to remain at that focal ratio. The Lumicon does not increase the focal length.

Thanks in advance,

There were some threads about these two on CN a while ago. Several people reported that the Lumicon unit adds some spherical abberation. This was okay for photographic use, but made it undesirable for visual use, unless you have a slightly overcorrected primary (someone reported about some scopes that were intentionally made with a bit of overcorrection so they could be used with the LCC).
