I am getting ready to upgrade my mount. At this time I have a CI700 with a C11 and 80mm piggybacked. I CCD with a ST7&CFW8, flipmirror,etc. The CI700 is actual doing some
what OK, but it is maxed out. Iwant to evenually move up to a C14 and my 102ed,(piggybacked or side mounted,Which?)
I think that a G11 wouldn't be much of a difference then the CI700, so I am considering the Losmandy Titan GTO or maybe the MI 250 GTO ( I figure I might as well go GoTo at the time of upgrade) The mount will be installed on a pier in my observatory so all I need is the head. I'm trying to stay somewhere around $5000 (or less if possable,less meams I can get the C14 sooner!) Does anyone have any other models in mind and what do you think of buying used?
