Secondary offset in Newtonians

Hi all,
Will a offset secondary in a fast Newt result in a different out of focus star pattern, i.e. concentric, but seemingly not perfectly circular- like a slightly flattened circle?

Thanks!

I think slightly flattened circular would be astigmatism in the optics. As in something too tightly mounted. Perhaps the secondary is pinched.
