Hi, hopefully somebody has some good experience answers. The simple question is ... what do you use for a good chair or stool to use a sct that does provide some awkward viewing and focusing positions. Yes, I have seen the ones advertised in my monthly publications.
Thanks Brian

I like the Stardust chair from Hands on Optics. It’s built like a tank. I never worry about the seat dropping or the chair tipping over sideways, even at the highest seat position. It has a comfortable padded spring cushioned seat too.

I have the Starbound chair and use it with my N8GPS and 85mm APO. For the 16" Starmaster, I mostly stand.

It's a little pricey, but works great.

They have a "Starbound"-like chair. I use it with my LX200GPS and it works great. Free-floating height adjustment. Does not go as low to the ground as some of the others, but should not be and issue with a SCT.
