Simple question.. William Optics Megrez 90 FD APO OTA or Televue 85? Thanks for any input.

While the William Optics are great telescopes, it is hard to beat the Televue 85. I vote TV-85 all the way.

Only you can answer this question. The TV is a fine scope, but _IMHO_ it is NOT worth the extra 500 dollars (for the cheapest TV85 OTA). I had a chance to evaluate the WO extensively and found that, amongst other things, even _I_ could get great CCD shots with it.
