Currently, I have a Telepod head and tripod. Is it possible to mount the Telepod head on a Bogen tripod? The Bogen that I have seems much more sturdy than the Telepod tripod, which seems to be at its limit with my recently acquired TV85.

Don,
I use a Bogen 3046. This is a VERY popular combination for the 85 (which I also use-great scope!). I haven't owned a Telepod tripod, but have heard that it isn't nearly as solid as the 3046. I have a friend who uses the 3036? I think and is very happy with it as well.
It's definitely a step up in stability.

I have my telepod head on a Bogen 475B tripod. It's a VERY solid tripod, more than enough for my Pronto and probably a whole lot more!
