Could someone tell me what is the common thread size for attaching an SCT prism to the 1.25" visual back. I have one that Threads onto an M42 male thread. Are all of them of this 42mm thread type?

SCT Thread is IIRC, Unified Thread Standard 2"-24 or 24 threads per inch on a 2" diameter.

T2 version (T Thread) is a screw mount using a male M42x0.75 metric thread and should not be confused with the M42 lens mount which is also 42mm, but has a 1mm thread pitch.
