Upgrade Finder Scope!?

I am interested in upgrading my finder scope (currently 50mm) and would like to keep the cost under $200. Are there any good options out there that can be recommended. My skies are typically less than Mag 5 and commonly more like Mag 4, so a little more aperture is welcome. Plus, I do not subscribe to the concept that crosshairs are not necessary. It is tough enough sometimes to center an object even with crosshairs. Also, want it to fit on the standard dovetail mount. Would appreciate any advice you can give.

Hi Judson,

I have the Russell Optics 80mm finder - it fits in a standard 50mm mounting bracket (it's tapered like a binocular). Highly recommend it :-).

I bought this 50mm for my 127 ED, nice unit.
Russel 80mm, I had one and liked it a lot. Worked well, but I sold it. SOmetimes I wish I had kept it. It was lighter than most 80mm finders I have seen. (Picture below)
Will the extra weight cause you any problems with your mount?

I've been spoiled by the finder that came on my LOMO 150 MC. To beat it, I would have to buy a small refractor with a good quality star diagonal. The Stellarvue F50 can exceed it a bit with the right EP, but not the one that comes standard with the F50. I use an illuminated double reticle 10mm Plossl EP by Celestron with a Rigel illuminator that is programmable for intensity, on and off time and has a reticle focuser. It's around $250 plus postage for the F50 with Celestron EP. The standard finder scopes do not equal this setup, but they don't cost $250+ either.
