webcam computer requirements

Looking for a computer to run a USB toUcam and the usual viewing and stacking software. What is the minimum cpu speed, drive capacity etc. for reasonable performance?

Would A 233Mhz, PII work or do I need something nearer a 1GHz PIII

I have an older 200 Mhz PI and it does the job quite well though slow, in particular the processing. My 450 is way better and the 3Ghz performs excellent. I have used the 450 for years and found it to be more than excellent for a webcam and general image processing. A 1Ghz should do the job great and for reasonable performance even a 500 Mhz.
