Hi,
I have a new Byers Cam Trak that's been sitting idle quite a few years. ( purchased just after byers went out of business.) Can someone give me an idea about what it might be worth now? Thanks.

Hi Robert,You may get an idea for a price from telescope warehouse. They have several different Ed Byers drives and gears. You have to go into the website we're not allowed to talk about here-you know the one that rhymes with egay and search telescope warehouse and click on mounts and drives.Hope I did'nt break any rules but thats where you can find them.Regards,Darrell

Thanks for your comments. If I recall, that's about what I paid for it, if not more.

There's no question that the tripod mount should be used.

Byers was known for their superb drive gears. and with all respect, this miniature equitorial gem, with its accessories, should be better than the barndoor design for widefield camera work.

Thx.

Thx.
