I'd like to make a set of casters for my LX90. The setup described on the Cloudynights site is a bit too big for what I have in mind. Does anyone know of any sites that describe how to build a wheelie bar or install individual casters on the tripod legs?

David, Look for Ed Stewart's page on MAPUG.com. You also should look through the MAPUG archives for different mounts.

Has anyone used really big wheels so you could roll the tripod and mount over grass to a prepared site in the back yard from the garage? I would carry the OTA (7” refractor) out after.
