Does anyone here actually own a new Megrez 80 II. I know first hand that the build quality of the scope itself is 1st class. It's the optics that I am concerned about, having recently sent one back for very poor performance.

Tom-

I sent one back too, the scope performed great mechanically but the optics had sphearical error. I spoke to Williams and they informed me that some of the Megrez II's had problems. On the Williams Optics group most of those that purchased the Megrez II were very happy and frequently post great images, unfortunatly some of us got "lucky" ones. You can't even get a Megrez II in Canada anymore only the new ED's. My Megrez II is being replaced with their new Megrez II ED triplet Apo and it shipped yesterday smile
