I am looking to purchase one to compliment my 31 Nagler. Is it worth the price, or should I go for the 26 Nagler. I would like to stay all 2"
Any feedback on the 22 Nagler?

Anthony,
when I got my 22, I found that I was using it much more than my 31. So, I sold the 31 to pick up the 17 and 12. As for the 26, I couple of folks in our club do a eyepiece comparisons for our newsletter each month. They recently compared the 26 Nagler and the 27 Panoptic. The results. The 26 Nagler came out ahead, but not by much. Yuo may want to try this yourself if you can, before you spend that much money on the Nagler.

You need to calculate the fields of view of each of your eyepieces and then see if the 22 or the 26 fills a void in between the other EP's in your box. I have the 22 Nagler, and love it, it's my most used EP. I also have the 31 which is used for the really large objects, M31, M42, Double Cluster, etc. I only have four EP's, each one was picked to give me an even step up in power and field from the previous one. They are a Meade 8.8 UWA, 14mm UWA, the 22 Nagler and last but not least the Terminagler.
