Is it possible for a longer focal length eyepiece, say a 26mm 2", to be designed with a 100 degree AFOV? If so, is there one in our future?

Sorry for chiming in late, Charles,
but I read somewhere, a review or a forum,
that the Ethos was not scalable upwards - longer focal length,
but could be scaled down to a higher power - shorter focal length version.
I think someone was quoting Uncle Al as saying that.
