I'm surprised at the lack of power in some of the above posts... well here's my current collection, and I've been quite happy with it. My dobs are f/5 and f/5.6, and I recently picked up a 102ed at f/7.

27 pan with 2.0 dioptrx
16 t5
11 t6
7 t6
2x and 2.5x TV barlows

and that's it! don't you all admire my self-restraint? smile

I guess that's cheating with the extra barlow--but sometimes I want that extra bit of power.

--sooo, should I change out the 27 pan for a 26 t5? or maybe it and my 40mm(rarely used) for a 22t4 and a 35 pan? should I dump the 16t5 for the 17t4? Yeah, the eye relief's a little tight, and I do have astigmatism, but the contrast on that 16mm is incredible...And I still can't imagine a 1.5 lb eyepiece on my lightweight 10" truss dob.

Forgive me for chiming in late on this one,
but I can't be left out of a TeleVue collection thread! wink
I'd recommend the T4's, T5's, T6's and the Radians.
There. That's four! 8)

Seriously though...

31 T5
20 T5
13 Ethos
7 T6
3-6 zoom for planetary

(No, that's not cheating - I traded in the barlow!) smile

I've never looked through a Televue eyepiece. I'm curious just how good they are. I noticed a couple of you listed the 11mm vs. the 12 mm. I would have thought a 2" eyepiece would let more light through with the 2" 1-1/4 12mm. How much difference is there?

Also I was considering buying the Meade series 5000 UWA kit that includes the 30mm , 18mm, and 6.7 mm for $749 with a nice form fitted case.
From reveiws I've read most people can't tell too much difference althought the price difference is huge.

Opinions?

What I have:
32 Wide Field
and 1.25" pairs:
24 Wide Field
16 T5
10.5 Plossl
7.4 Plossl
3-6 zoom
Having sold the 17T4 (heavy and some lateral color), 13T1, 9T1 (which I miss!), and some Plossls. Is there a Nagler in the sub-12mm range with decent eye-relief? :-)

p.s. Pentax-wise, pairs of 21XL and 8-24 zoom (covers 8-16 with good FOV), plus 14 and 5XL singles.
