Which 1.25 Diagonal?

I have ordered a 19mm Panoptic and now I'm thinking I should mate it to a decent diagonal for my C-8. My question: Which one? I have the solid one that came with the C-8 which seems fine but I have a feeling I will want something better with the new eyepiece.

I suppose the obvious answer is a Televue, but the Everbright at about $190 is a bit steep. The Televue standard is more reasonable at $140 but what others should I consider?
Thanks
Dave

William Optics makes an excellent 2" diagonal for $129.00.

You will need a 2" visual back like the one made by Televue or Astro-Physics.

Hi David,
I would recommend a William Optics 2". They're a pretty damn good value and you'll be wanting some 2" EP's I would think. When you see how nice the 19mm Panoptic is, you may want to try the 27mm and/or 35mm. I went that route on my 8" LX-90 and was very happy. 8)

Hi David,

To answer your question specifically, I use a Lumicon 1.25" diagonal and the Pan 19mm combination in my 8" SCT. I find it to be a great configuration. Outstanding on DSO's. I recently did a swap-check-swap with my 18mm Radian and the Pan 19mm. The Pan 19mm was the best of that pair, but the eye relief is a problem for me.
