I was talking with Dean At Starizona a couple of days ago. He said that domes are noisy. Because of the limitations of the CC&R's in Quail Creek in Green Valley, AZ I'm seriosly considering the small Robo-Dome and remoting to the den.

Anybody had any experience with noisy domes? I don't want to get my neighbors P.Oed.

Hi Darrell- I don't thnk you would find the noise objectionable. It certainly would not make as much noise as someones outside air conditioner running its cycle. I am sure with that small of a dome that hard rubber or even soft rubber caster wheels could be used which would make very little noise. With a big metal dome you do have a potential noise problem.

My dome is not motorized yet.It is on rubber castors and it is very quiet! Except for me on the inside huffing and puffing to push it around.
Just kidding it is actually quite easy to push!
But it is quiet!
talk about noise, how about a blow dryer going every hour just to keep the dew down thats what I did before with the roll off Obs.(I'm to cheap to buy a dew zapper!)
I think the dome will help keep the noise from my Lx200 down! It is rather noisey

Thanks to all. I feel much better. It's still 6-7 months away till the house is finished but I'll post the results when it's done.
