Looking for a alt az mount for a Celestron 80mm APO. I have a suitable heavy duty tripod and don't need motors. Vixen portamount?

I think the Portamount would be sufficient, I am currently using an AT-102ED on a Portamount, it's not ideal but a very workable combination with a reasonable settling time. With my significantly smaller 80mm F/7 it is a good match.

I like the combination of the point and shoot with the slow motion controls that the Portamount offers. Slewing and low power observing is easy dob style and for high magnifications one can dial it in and track with the slow motion controls.

Another mount to consider is the Stellarvue M1. I have it for my grab and go setup and like it a lot.
