What would be the minimum size mount (for visual viewing) that would safely carry a 9.25" SCT? I know the CG-5 will do the job.. that is what I have my MN66 mounted to, But I am looking for a 2nd mount.. was thinking of one of the ORION smaller versions.. thank you, John M

Personally even for visual Id say a Vixen GP/SP (and the CG-5 clones) are maxed with a C-8 - let alone a 9.25. My 9.25 was at home on a CI-700 and a GM-8 - both of which were nice match-ups. Your mileage and tolerance of vibration may vary - for me if it doesn't dampen in under 1 sec with a hard rap I find I loose detail in DSO's and Planets.
