Lens repair or replacement?

I have an Apogee 127 F/6.5 refractor with scratches in the objective. The scratches are in the coatings.
Does anyone know where I can have this repaired or replaced. Apogee doesn't want to return emails after six weeks of numerous attempts.

Thanks,
Bob Hayes

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Bob:

It does seem that Apogee Inc is no longer with us...

Are you sure that the scratches are serious enough to warrant concern??

You cannot repair a scratch or any other defect in glass unless it is re-ground, re-polished and re-figured. That is a big job, and the result will only work if it is returned to the factory that made it, since they would be the only people who would have the necessary test plate. Replacing the lens would be infinitely easier for everyone concerned. Of course, that assumes that the scratch would affect the image, which it most likely will not.
