Just installed a Mercury Systems SFA2 2" brass compression ring. This is the best accessory I've added to the scope and perhaps the cheapest too. I've nearly dropped my TV Everbright off the back end of this scope twice, the SFA2 is cheap insurance and will keep the scratches off my diagonals.
