What would be a good choice for a refractor to mount on my Celestron Nexstar 11GPS? I dont want to spend $2K, so something like an Orion would be nice. Any suggestions. I have never owned a refractor

What do you plan to dop with it? Guide, view, RFT, Planets/High power?

Mike, for $500 or less, the Orion or the Celestron 80ED would be my personal choices... (the Orion is a bigger package than the Celestron, due to a 100mm tube assembly)

I have my Orion 80ED mounted on top of my 10" LX-200GPS, and works like a charm! (also got a separate mount for it in case I want to use it standalone)

Clear skies! wink
