Building a 10"f/16 refractor

I'm finished with the tube and internal electric collimateable focuser....now onto making the objective.

One more pic of the focuser and backplate of my 10"f/16. I'm working so much in the shops making this and a folr mounted 17" newtonian and grinding several mirrors in my optical shop...I don't know what to do...

Rob: Very nice work. It looks like for the moment at least you are using a 1.25 inch focuser, or at least the draw tube looks to be 1.25 inch. Is that the final configuration?

I also enjoyed seeing the photos of your mirror grinding operation. Pretty serious stuff.

Yeah..From building the 10"f/16 to building the 17" fork mounted newt...to building a cincinnatti modified mill base fork mounted 13" newt....to building my avatar scopes...and finally..to making the objectives and mirrors for every one of them.....I keep my hobby juices flowing.

Well...my 10"f/15 (change) Objective arrived by UPS..here are some images.

This is a pretty beafy objective and cell..note the $10 bill for reference.
