[COLOR="Purple"]Hi Chuck!
First - Nice looking OTA!

Second - Probably harder to sell at a decent price without optics.
Many potential buyers are looking for a "complete", ready to use scope.

Third - Put a price that you think is fair but check that you are flexible.
Again, many potential buyers may not have any idea what the structure might
be worth so if you don't give them a starting point for the price, they'll
be apt to low-ball you with offers just to see if they can get it.

Just my opinion as far as selling self-made stuff.
HNY!

Hi Chuck, We talked about this scope
back around June. I think its a beautiful
scope -- appears to be very well made.
But I felt I could not judge the quality
and workmanship well enough from photos alone
to feel comfortable paying "reasonable" prices
(e.g. StarMaster or Teeter prices, less optics)
for it. Problem for buyers with
one-off customs scopes is establishing the
quality and price. With something like
StarMaster the quality is well-known,
and there are many sold on Astromart so
selling prices are well established. You
might have better luck selling it a
large star parties or conventions where
people can see it first-hand. Might also
help if you sold it as complete scope with
name-brand optics -- people could try it at
star parties, etc. I wish I had been able
to see it in person back then, but was not
practical. Ultimately I went with a name-brand
16" scope. - John B.
