I tried taking a picture of Jupiter with my Nikon D5000 at Prime focus on my celestron C6-RGT. But the picture was to small to show any detail, So I dropped in a 2x Bar;ow and then couldn't get it in focus, Ive got a Crayford focuser and it seems the tube is to short for me to draw it out far enough !sad sad

Steve, you'll need to get an extension tube, either 1.25 or 2 inch depending on your format for the DSLR adapter. The extensions are available from a number of sources, like Televue, GSO, Meade Celestron etc.
I see you live in Crestview, I spent 1977 through 1982 on Pensacola Beach and in the city. I wonder if the beach area still has those amazing dark skies in the winter?
