Newtonian Mirror versus Bathroom

Why is it I look WAY older looking down my scope than in the bathroom mirror?

I seem to see wrinkles that aren't there in the "real" world?

Yeah, but I bet if you looked at yourself in the bathroom mirror...through your scope, you'd look a lot younger.

Just like when you look at a distant galaxy through your scope, and see it as it was millions of years ago.
