It looked like there was a nifty lunar conjunction early this evening. I saw it while driving. A crescent moon with a couple of bright stars/planets. Anybody have any info?

From the east- moon, venus, jupiter. I was rather hoping for the moon (as advertized by several news orgs) to be BETWEEN the planets, but I guess that happened when the conjunction was still over Eurasia. Well, at least I got to see it at all (90% of the time weather blocks all the interesting stuff).

Was very nifty indeed -- got remarks and emails the next morning from non-astro acquaintances that noticed it while driving home.
