I have a TV-76 and want to buy a polarizing filter and maybe some others. I have the ability to screw a filter in any of several locations, such as on the 2" diagonal, on 2" or 1.25" eyepieces or Powermates, or even on the objective lens. Is there any particular advantage for any position? The obvious one is that the smaller ones are cheaper, but is there a clear technical reason to use one position over another? Thanks for any info...
How to buy a filter?

There's NO particular advantage, only for comfort issues...
When you use the filter on other area than the eyepiece, it is more comfortable, since you'll be able to switch eyepieces without have to screw/unscrew the filter constantly... that's all.
Clear skies!
