Stephen's Quintet whoop-de-do!

I fouund the Quintet the other night when looking for NGC 7331, and it was a little on the dim side. It looked like a patch of a few smudges and I thought it was an open cluster until I couldn't resolve any stars with more magnification. Then I knew what it was when I found 7331 a short ways away; someone's nice widefield photos of this region has shown these two near each other in the star field. The quintet sure looks better in CCD images! Maybe I should trade my 12" for a 20". I did get to see two of the companion galaxies to NGC 7331, however, and some dust lane details.

Anyone else found the Quintet lately? Would it be possible to sight it in a 6" refractor?

I have seen it in my 12" and in both a 16" and 20" dob. I don't recall seeing any detail in any of the 3 scopes, although the 20" did give the brighter galaxy a little more defined shape.
