I have heard of people doing this so I finally gave it a try yesterday, and this morning at about 9am est. and yesterday at 4pm est.
Though not like viewing Jupiter,Saturn,Venus,and of course the moon at night it was a nice experience.
Venus was like a cresent moon.
I was amazed that I was able to see the distinct bands on Jupiter, and one moon, though I was only able to bring the scope up to 178x, and after that the air was not steady enough. That is what I get for being in the hot Florida sun.
Saturn I saw the rings and the Cassini Division too
Very nice and something that is unusual to show someone during the daytime.
