EVERYTHING I HATE ABOUT ASTROMART

The location of the Next Post link changes, depending on the size of the author's avatar image, or whether they use one. This forces me to shift my attention from what I'm reading, in order to advance to the next post.

I'd prefer to position my mouse pointer at the start of a chain of posts, and just click-click-click without having to relocate the Next Post link.

Is it possible to standardize the space that is allocated for the avatar image? I know that this would leave a blank space for folks like me who don't use avatars, but it would expand the forum's ease of use (in my view).

As an alternative, could you add an option to omit avatar images? Perhaps there already is, but I couldn't locate it... (I'd actually prefer standardizing the avatar display, because I enjoy seeing what people use for their images.)

Having gotten on to this thread, is there any way to get off?

For us narcicistic chatty cathys that like to drone on with our gurucentric lists of favorite toys, a few kb of extra space under My Profile would be cool. I actually ran out of space to bloviate.

Unless you are complaining that you are NOT paying enough this is NOT the place to complain.

This is for things you don't like about the current version of AstroMart and what you think would make AstroMart BETTER

We do not buy off the shelf software. We pay thousands and thousands of dollars to make it the way YOU want it and want it to work

Now is YOUR chance to make the way YOU want it

The developers are monitoring the FORUM so you can talk DIRECT to them

Thank you

I was just reminded of something that I really don't like regarding the forums..... I stay logged in all the time.

1. Whenever I open AM and there are new forum posts if I do not go read them during that session there is every likelihood that next time I open AM they will no longer be marked as new posts. Given I don't always have time to go thru the new posts but was perhaps just checking the new ads this can cause me to miss new posts to a topic I am following. It does seem to be a little sporadic in the tracking of this. As sometimes they will be marked as new for two or three visits and sometimes are gone even if you almost instantly open AM back up.

2. Once a post is read it does not always stay greyed out on subsequent visits or even during the same session so combined with the above it does at times make keeping up a chore.
