The crater Manillus(four o,clock from the Appinines) appears to be sporting a new feature. Any Comments?

Given the size and resolution of your image, it's hard to tell what, if anything is going on.

I will say I've viewed and imaged Manilius (at high resolution) the last couple of nights and didn't _notice_ anything out of the ordinary. Do you have a bigger picture?

It looks to me as if it is a reflection of light from the rim of the crater. I can't say I've seen it before, but it might be worth looking again next month. I looked up some info about the crater and the interior has a higher albedo than surrounding areas. There looks to be an elevated, but broken ridge-mound running north-south.
