Jupiter and the Moon

Last night was really nice view of Jupiter and the moon. Check out Stefan Seip's pictures on the CCD forum. Anyone else catch it?

I checked out the group in a friends 12.5" about a week a go. In fact, I mentioned the CCD photo here.

I was able to make out the three brightest galaxies, with some effort. But I identified what I saw at the eyepiece prior to looking at the atlas (he had found the galaxies).
