MASP

Anyone going??
I'm in Portsmouth,VA and thinking about going down on the 1st Fri afternoon and leaving on the 3rd Sun afternoon.

I live in Roanoke, VA. I might go along with some other members in the RVAS (Roanoke valley astronomical society). Im only 16, so i would have to have my parents drive me down on the friday after i get home from school and then leave the sunday. But thats only if they will take me. I would try and car pool but im expecting to get a Meade LXD55 10" SN scope this thursday from another club member so i dont think there would be enough room for that.

I drove down this weekend just to make sure I could find it ok in case I try to get there late friday. Its easy to find if you know to look for the Scout camp I can't pronounce. Looks like a good place, this will be my first year.
