Hi.
I am into Astronomy, and I drop in and check out the photos on this forum every once in a while.
You guys take some neat pictures!
I love to look at birds through my telescopes and binoculars but have no formal knowledge of birding.
What I want to do is take digital photos via eyepiece projection but I don't know where to start.
What kind of digital camera? How do I attach the camera to
my scope? Will my 1 1/4" eypieces work or do I have to purchase special ones? I have 2" capability.
Is there a site or book you can point me towards to get me
started.
thanks,
Bryan

Bryan,
There are many folks here who can help. I can show you the setup that I use when digiscoping, but I think that it may be more helpful to refer you to a website where many people can help.

Go to:
http://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=243

You may need to sign up as a member (I'm not sure) but, I can assure you that it is a very responsible website, and I have never had a problem during my membership. This forum is dedicated to all aspects of birding, and has a detailed forum on digiscoping. There are hundreds of messages to read (questions, and answers) and it would be a great place to start.

Let me know if you would like to know more about my own setup.

Cheers,
Tyler
