Where are the Goldfinch?

There are often goldfinch sipping from our birdbath, uspecially with the hot dry weather we've been having.

"Where are they?" this guy wants to know.

Funny. I have a bird bath just outside the window by my desk, and it is very popular with the Goldfinches. The back feeder is where I sometimes see evidence of someone having a bird for lunch.
