Shot thru a Apogee 80ed scope with a Kodak DX4900 using the digi-T 18mm eyepiece/adaptor.

Very interesting; supposedly we have a few here in the Central Valley of California, but so far I have seen only Brewer's and Red-winged. I wouldn't mind a little variety!

Nice shot. I am hoping to photograph one of these guys this summer. They are rare here in WI, but there are two or three local populations.

Tom,
I also have a dx4900 and am considering buying a digi-t. do you feel it works well enough to buy one? Alternatively, do you think it will work well on and digital astrophotography?
