According to Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, the supporters of the idea of human-caused global warming are just promoting the "homosexual agenda" and abortion.
Perkins: A major component of Global Warming is to reduce population because people are seen as part of the problem. And, of course, population control includes abortion. It also includes same-sex relations because they do not cause offspring.
ABC: In a new book, Tony Perkins even argues that if the storms and droughts predicted by climate scientists do come about, Christians should see them as a sign of the Second Coming.
Scary stuff man! I'm building an ark...

Save The Earth; Kill Yourself. Wonder if Mr. Perkins will be first in line for this selfless act grin grin

Took a look at the web page and found that it reminded me of the Pharisees, Scribes and Sadducees. Too much hatred for me as a Christian. Seems to me that Matthew 3:7 where John the Baptist collectively calls the Pharisees, Scribes and Sadducees a "brood of vipers" is appropriate for the Family Research Council. A example I found hilarious is they complain about how the democrats are holding up the confirmation of judges nominated by Bush, yet it was perfectly OK for the neocons (please note I am using necons here as the necons are not conservatives) to hold up the confirmation of Clinton's judicial nominations

Here's the FRC's belief system. I don't know how the word "Research" got into their title when they have decided these core principles are fact. Speaking as a disenfranchised single person, I consider every one of these to be either a personal opinion or a choice only:

[COLOR="Fuchsia"]Core Principles

God exists and is sovereign over all creation. He created human beings in His image. Human life is, therefore, sacred and the right to life is the most fundamental of political rights.
Life and love are inextricably linked and find their natural expression in the institutions of marriage and the family.
Government has a duty to promote and protect marriage and family in law and public policy.
The American system of law and justice was founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic.
American democracy depends upon a vibrant civil society composed of families, churches, schools, and voluntary associations.
