Having only scanned a laymans overview for about 30 minutes the other night on Black Holes...I came away with serious doubts about the concepts of black holes.

1. Black "holes" would have to be spheres, holes invites an incorrect mental imaging.

2. The Hawking x-ray/cosmic ray generation of some black holes would not necessarily be due to separation of particle pairs at the black *hole* gravitational horizon...but could be due to matter approaching the horizon with a corresponding collapse of the electron sub shells. (e.g., L-shell electons compressed to the K-shell with the resulting "Quantum energy difference released as soft to hard x-rays.). This occurs when matter goes from a higher state to a lower state. Of course this compressed "collapse" would occur on every subshell from the K-shell outward, generating a wide band of electro-magnetic radiation.

3.Hawkings conjecture of what happens inside the horizon does not really help. But if we want to go there...I like the White hole worm concept better. It would seem just as reasonable to think condensed matter would disappear traveling as a worm thru a White *hole* into another time, making another Universe. Going still farther out....It could help explain all the old popular Transcendental stuff like time regression under hypnosis and parapsychology. After all there is no physics definition for the structure of thought *waves* which COULD survive Black *hole* gravitational compression & destruction. :-) -LarryS.

Incidently...wonder if Laser light follows the inverse square law being collimated?.....probably, just further.
